Welcome letter

Dear colleagues, HDGON members and friends,

It is my great pleasure to invite you to join us at the 4th Croatian Congress of Gynecological Oncology with international participation, which will be held from 12-14 October in Poreč, organized by the Croatian Society for Gynecology Oncology (HDGON).

There has been a lot of new knowledge in the field of gynecological oncology in recent years, and this has influenced the clinical algorithms and guidelines in the treatment of patients. The last Croatian congress of gynecological oncology was in 2018, so now is the right time for the reunion of experts from various specialties who treat patients with gynecological malignancies with a joint, multidisciplinary approach.

Experts from various centers in Croatia will present their data and lead interesting discussions on controversial topics in gynecological oncology. Also, eminent experts from European countries will present the latest guidelines in gynecological oncology.

The main goals of the congress are to establish better collaboration between centers  in Croatia where patients with gynecological malignancies are treated and to settle the same algorithms and standards of treatment.
